SEOUL, South Korea —  North Korea launched two more short-range nuclear missiles Tuesday after U.N. Security Council members debated possible new sanctions against the communist nation for its initial underground nuclear test that occurred Monday.

Despite North Korea’s ill-advised behavior, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice announced Tuesday that the international community is not intimidated by the country’s “provocative and destabilizing” missile tests.
