Hey guys, I just buy this bad boy today and its very beautiful gun, very well made, worth the price, I’m just having a trouble finding accessories for it. (Scope Mounts/Red Dot mounts/light mounts) I wanna customize it to the fullest, Highly recommended gun!!

Shot my enhanced today for first time. No issues. Very comfortable and accurate. Controls crisp and well functioning. Have blackhawk serpa on the way. May shoot it in IDPA. Hard to put my XD down, still. CS

I have owned the enhanced now for about 6 weeks and the gun shoots very nice. I use it for a carry gun. It is very reliable, accurate, and feeds ball, and 5 different hollow points at 230 grn with no issues. I now have about 1500 rds through it and love this gun!!!!. Remington needs to advertise this gun more and create a buzz , because the R1 is a real keeper or the Enhanced as well.

Those fiber optic front sights are ‘eye grabbing’ high tech innovations for daytime users, i.e. they don’t glow like tritiums. I’ve got them on my S&W model 57 .41 magnum revolver. So easy to put the gun up and find the sight picture, then move it over to the target and squeeze! Don’t dis them. Green is easier to see than red… they come in both colors. Mine are red, and I’m happy with them

Nice to see they actually bothered to fit the grip safety this time. Shooting the old R1 is like letting your dog use your hand as a chew toy

I can not wait guys shoot one tell us all how well they work. I love buy one when they come out.

Let’s hope Remington makes even more models of the 1911. I prefer an American made 1911, so it’s good to have offerings from Big Green.

It’s a great looking gun…no doubt about that. But they just took their pricing to the next level! It was great to see a company like Remington come out with a 1911 for around $600.00; very affordable with a reliable name attached.
For a price of $900.00, this gun is in a whole different catagory…BTW, not big on the front sight either.

  • Not too keen on the fiberoptic front sight..too fragile, looks like it would not handle the draw very well.

A handgun to Love. Simple, basic and handsom.
