Tactical-Life.com spent the day at the range with Sig Sauer testing out their latest rifles and handguns for 2014. Scroll down to see the video.

The piston operated SIG516 is now available with Carbon Fiber free floated handguards and stocks. The SIGM400 Predator rifle seen here has a direct gas impingement system and is chambered in 5.56mm NATO. It comes with a heavy target stainless steel barrel and is threaded to accept SIG suppressors. This rifle also features an aluminum free floated Hogue handguard and new Hogue rubber overmolded grip. The Predator is designed for precision shooting, completion and 3-Gun with a 2 stage match trigger and fixed length Magpul stock.

The SIG MPX Pistol first introduced last year now has some great new features for 2014. Designed for home and personal defense, this piston operated 9mm pistol (also available .357 Sig and .40 S&W) has an 8 inch barrel with full ambidextrous AR controls and now includes a side folding receiver extension with a stabilizing arm brace for a very compact and versatile pistol. Recoil was minimal and accuracy offhand excellent. Look for a full review in the near future.
