An unmanned solar-powered airship just launched this morning in Akron has crashed in Pennsylvania, Fox 8 News reports.

The high-altitude airship from Lockheed Martin was designed to hover 60,000 feet above the ground. It reportedly cost approximately $150 million to build.

The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command launched the airship from its dock in Akron early Wednesday morning for the very first time.
