A steel flex plate and a durable thermo-elastomer retention membrane are included. As a result, carriers will hear and feel a satisfying “snap” every time they reholster their favorite firearm. The new Game Scout X-Bolt is the only aftermarket stock made for the Browning X-bolt. It is available for both short and long actions.

Finally, McMillan’s new Transition Camo paint finish is highly durable and mimics the spray patterns favored by professional tactical units and hunters. (mcmillanusa.com; 877-365-6148)

The holster is intended for OWB carry, and its leather belt slots can fit up to 1.75-inch-wide belts. The rig is also equipped with heavy-duty nylon stitching to help reduce any tearing or dry rotting. (mtrcustomleather.com; 336-879-2166)
