CORBON CLASSIC ACTION Renowned big game hunter Peter Pi and…

Renowned big game hunter Peter Pi and custom rifle builder D’Arcy Echols helped design Corbon’s new Hunter Classic rifle bolt action, the CorBon Model 1. Available in .375 H&H and .416 Rigby, the CRF (controlled round feed) Model 1 action features a long claw extractor—an absolute necessity for hunting dangerous game—integrated recoil lugs, custom serial numbers, and a Winchester Model 70-style
three-position safety with an integrated gas deflection shield, which will deflect gases away from the shooter’s face. The Model 1 action isn’t made from stampings, either—each action is completely milled from chrome-moly steel for durability and smooth operation. The predictable triggers are also designed in the style of the Model 70 action (pre-1964), and shooters should appreciate the one-piece magazine box and floorplate and traditional bolt knob. Nikon’s line of ProStaff riflescopes gives hunters and shooters the power and versatility they need for any hunt at an affordable price. The ProStaff series features a fully multicoated optical system, up to 98 percent light transmission, spring-loaded Zero-Reset turrets and precise 0.25-MOA click adjustments. The new ProStaff 3-9×50 packs in the optical performance with a huge 50mm objective that gathers light to keep you hunting as long as possible and helps you find the target faster in low-light, low-contrast situations. The new 2-7×32, 3-9×40, and 4-12×40 models offer the superb optics, new Zero-Reset turrets, magnification and FOV to put any shot on target. (; 800-645-6687)

Fred Eichler, known for hunting predators, has developed an LAR-15 series of rifles with Rock River Arms. Featuring a .223 Wylde chamber, the new rifle features a 16-inch stainless steel, cryogenically treated barrel with a tuned and ported muzzle brake, Hogue pistol grip, mid-length gas system, and either an adjustable Operator CAR or A2 stock. The most noticeable feature is its Eichler handguard, which has coyote-print cutouts for ventilation and Picatinny rail sections. RRA’s winter triggerguard is also installed, allowing for gloved use. The chrome two-stage trigger aids in accuracy and RRA guarantees this predator-taker will maintain 0.75 MOA at 100 yards. (; 866-980-7625)
