At the NRA show, Trijicon had their new AccuPoint riflescope on display. This optic would do very well sitting on a mid-length or longer AR-rifle (not a very short carbine) or some other type of infantry-style rifle (DSA SA-58, Springfield M1A, etc.). It is a variable power riflescope from 1x to 4x. The tube is a straight 30mm type that should be strong enough to handle rifles with significant recoil while allowing more light to pass through than a 1-inch tube. It’s waterproof to 10 feet, has a manual brightness override, longer eye relief, fiber optic aiming point, tritium phosphor lam and a matte black finish over aluminum construction. Very hot scope.
