More than 40 people were shot in Chicago over the holiday weekend, and at least 10 of them were killed, NBCChicago.com reported.

The latest shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. in Albany Park, a Chicago neighborhood, where police said a man was shot in the face. It followed dozens of shootings across the city since Friday.

“It’s been a real rough weekend, a lot of gun violence,” community activist Pastor Corey Brooks told ABC News.

“Nobody can be comfortable or sanguine about it and nobody should,” he said. “If you’re a resident of the city, and a child is shot in Little Village, that’s a child in the city of Chicago. It’s not in another part of the city.”

This weekend’s most violent period was an hour-and-a-half stretch early Sunday morning when 13 people were shot.

This has to be a case of false reporting because they have gun control and it’s the home of the great leader who wouldnt allow this type of behavior especially after all the “change” he’s made

Chicago, how’s that “no guns for your citizens” working out for ya? Ready to join the rest of America in adopting concealed carry and experiencing lower crime rates? Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
