Hooded bandits robbed 22 Carnival Splendor cruise ship passengers at gunpoint as they traveled on a bus near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, several days into a cruise that left from Long Beach, Calif., the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday.

The tourists, who departed California on Feb. 19 and returned Sunday, were traveling on a bus after going on a nature hike Friday when the bandits struck near the Mexican port city, according to local media reports.

The gunmen stole the passengers’ valuables — including cameras and money — before fleeing. No one was reported to have been hurt during the robbery.

If you go you get what you deserve. How many YEARS do we have to keep telling the “i’m way to important to get hurt” sheeple not to go. I’m tired of listening to the “but it will be ok”s and the “thats somewhere else” whines because “i want to go and DESERVE to go” yep you deserve alright

People, let’s not be stupid. Mexico at this time is dangerous. Don’t go there, don’t get off the boat there, don’t vacation there. Let them sort this stuff out and maybe in a decade it will be safe enough to visit.
