About 400 U.S. airports are now checking I.D. cards with black lights to illuminate holograms found in licenses and passports.  This is one of many security upgrades the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has made in the last six months, including the replacement of airline security guards with TSA’s own security professionals.  Unlike security officials hired by the airlines, TSA’s security units get daily briefings on the latest airport security concerns.  For more details on TSA’s improvements in airport security, click here and return back to comment.
