LONDON — One of the eight Muslim men on trial for planning attacks on London’s Heathrow Airport admitted Tuesday to his plans of setting off explosive devices at the airport, but not on aircrafts.

Abdulla Ahmed Ali planned to “create a disturbance” outside of the airport’s American airlines’ offices that would attract “a lot of attention” to Muslim militants’ opposition to British and American policy regarding Iraq and Afghanistan.
