WASHINGTON– President Bush and Pakistan’s newly elected president, Asif Ali Zardari, will meet Tuesday in New York to discuss and strengthen their relationship as allies.  The meeting comes after tensions between the countries escalated since President Bush ordered NATO forces to enter Pakistan without permission from Islamabad.  Pakistan responded by ordering their troops to open fire on U.S. & NATO forces upon sight next time they crossed the border to seek and capture Al-Qaida militants.
