Down economic times are calling for creative ways to move new cars off the lot. That’s why Premier Auto Outlet is taking a shot at a new way to stay on target.

“Any vehicle that is purchased between now and the end of the month, they get a free gun of their choice, within the price limit,” said Premier owner Wayne Lewis. “You get to have a little toy, a little fun.”

“I think we are in the part of the country where people cherish the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms. I think most customers use guns in positive ways,” explained Lewis. “It’s no different, I would say, than giving away a TV or anything else. It is a piece of merchandise.”

I hope that the car buyers realize that the pistol is a Hipoint that costs less than 200 bucks.I don’t know which shotgun that is but it’s probably also less than a 200 dollar gun.Now if you really want to sell cars, do what a bank once did, give away Weatherby Mark V rifles. Or at least a Glock or an AR.
