The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol plan on installing nearly sixty security towers along U.S.-Mexico border.  The towers’ height would range from 80 feet to 200 feet and are meant to “improve CBP’s efficiency and probability of detection, identification and apprehension of illegal border crossers,” according to a statement from the Environmental Assessment for SBInet Tucson West Project.
