Children’s Shelter Pays Tribute to Women in the Military

Betty's Angels, a shelter for children who are victims of homelessness, drug addiction, and neglect, paid tribute to women in the military at a fundraiser.

Betty’s Angels, a 24-hour emergency shelter for children who are victims of homelessness, sexual abuse, drug addiction, and neglect, paid tribute to women who serve in the military at a fundraiser recently.

The fundraiser, “Salute to Women in the Military,” was held this weekend at the Trumbull Country Club in Warren, Ohio. During the event, women of the military modeled their uniforms in a fashion show. They were escorted by local men of the military.

94-year-old Air Force Reserves veteran Fred Kubli of Niles, Ohio, was the oldest veteran in attendance and escorted many of the models.
