s recent economic troubles, China’s top general said Monday while playing down his country’s own military capabilities.

The chief of the General Staff of the People’s Liberation Army, Chen Bingde, told reporters he thought the U.S. should cut back on defense spending for the sake of its taxpayers. He was speaking during a joint news conference in which he traded barbs with visiting U.S. counterpart Adm. Mike Mullen.

“I know the U.S. is still recovering from the financial crisis,” Chen said. “Under such circumstances, it is still spending a lot of money on its military and isn’t that placing too much pressure on the taxpayers?

“If the U.S. could reduce its military spending a bit and spend more on improving the livelihood of the American people … wouldn’t that be a better scenario?” he said.

I can’t wait until we get a nationalistic president again who puts America ahead of the world.Who was our last one Eisenhower? These globalist American presidents are dismantling America in favor of the UN a global government. Almost all of the fighting our country has done since WW2 has been because someone wouldn’t bend to the UN.I’d like to see our government not only quit the UN but also evict them.China? Does anyone remember all the GIs killed by Chinese troops in Korea and by Chinese weapons in Vietnam? I know, ancient history. The only reason that the US economy is bad because out manufacturing has been sent to China,Mexico and other cheap labor pools.Someday America and China will fight. If our Presidents since Eisenhower had their way,America would fall and Chinese armies would be a part of the Occupation of America if required.CLUCK CHINA.

Wow, that’s kinda funny, this coming from a country that doesn’t even release the actual amount that they spend.
