WASHINGTON– The border area between Pakistan and Afghanistan has become a safe haven for al-Qaida, presenting a “clear and present danger” to the west, CIA Director Michael Hayden said Sunday.  Intelligence agencies believe that Osama bin Laden is hiding in that territory and that if a future terrorist attack were to happen on western soil, it would most likely come from this border area.  For more details, click here and return back to comment.
