A coordinated sweep Thursday by almost a dozen law enforcement agencies targeted gang activity in the Holland area and netted at least four arrests.

Several homes and businesses were searched by local and federal agents. The targets are active gang members, according to police, and Thursday’s effort follows a year of groundwork. Fifteen federal and two state warrants backed up the searches.

Each of the four suspects was arrested for being felons in possession of firearms or ammunition, according to a complaint filed in federal court Thursday by Special Agent Andrew Holt of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The documents show the men arrested included Raymon “King Snappy” Gaytan Jr., 25; Ramon “Jamon” Morales, 36; Arturo “Art” Deleon, 30, and Francisco “Chubaka” Martinez Jr., 26.
