LOS ANGELES – U.S. and Mexico states are considering to charge a border crossing fee, hoping that moneys gained will go towards infrastructure improvements that will reduce congestion at border posts. The idea was announced Friday by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger who, along with representatives from the ten border states, met with Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff at the Border Governors Conference held in Los Angeles.
