TALLAHASSE, Fla.– The Fla. senate approved a bill that grants workers the right to carry guns to work for self-protection if the weapons are kept locked in their cars.  The measure was approved in a 26-13 vote, but those who work in nuclear plants, schools and prisons are exempt from this measure.  For more details, click here and return back to comment.

  • Good Idea cancelled out by the caveat of “in the car”. While it is better than nothing, it is also like keeping an unloaded firearm in the nightstand. It should also serve to make work place parking lots as the new hot spot to steal firearms. In passing, a wise man (not me) once said that it takes seconds to die while the police are minutes away.
