The nation’s utilities are at risk for cyber attack, states CIA’s top cybersecurity expert, Tom Donahue, and attackers have hacked into the computer systems of utility companies oversears.  In one case, the hacking caused a power outage that affected multiple cities. The CIA suspects “that some of the attackers had the benefit of inside knowledge,” Donahue said at a trade conference in New Orleans.  Hackers are using the attacks to demand money from large utility corporations.  Check out the full story and return back to comment.
