Starting January 31 all those who intend on entering the U.S. from Mexico must show a valid proof of citizenship in the form of a birth certificate or passport, including Americans.  A driver’s license is not a valid form or citizenship, stated Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff on Thursday.  Chertoff also stated that these new rules are necessary to protect the country against attacks similar to Sept. 11.  For more on this story click here and return back to comment.
