WASHINGTON – In an effort to protect itself from cyber attacks the United States government used a system called the “Einstein”. The Einstein 2.0 is now being tested to detect computer intrusions as they happen, and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff says he’d like to see a computer infrastructure that could stop encroachment before it happens. Chertoff says “let’s make the investment now rather than wait until there’s a huge catastrophe.”
