WILKES-BARRE, Pennsylvania — Three Spanish-speaking men can remain on parole if they successfully learn to read and write English, earn GED’s and get full-time jobs as part of a creative sentencing made by Luzerne County Judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr.  The Judge is known for creative sentencing, but this sentence may seem more lenient and ineffective when it should be considered that all three young men have previously been to jail and were facing second prison sentences for criminal conspiracy to commit robbery when they were immediately paroled.  To read more on this, click here and return back to comment.
