The Anonymous Filmmaker explores how the Phoenix Police Department reacts days after the event at the Century 16 Movie Theater in Aurora, Colorado where a gunman, James Holmes, killed 12 people and injured 58 more at the premiere of Batman The Dark Knight Rises. In our Hollywood style video, a man resembling a terrorist paces around a busy street in Phoenix Arizona carrying a rocket launcher until the police apprehend him. This film explores the response time and reaction of law enforcement within the Phoenix rural community. You will be shocked to see what happens.

An Arizona filmmaker trying to prove a point about police response time was arrested this week after making an amateur film in which a character dressed as a “terrorist” paraded through the busy streets of Phoenix wielding a fake rocket propelled grenade launcher.

The alarming scene, filmed this summer, prompted nearly a dozen calls to 911 from scared motorists. SWAT teams descended on Michael D. Turley’s Phoenix home on Monday to arrest the 39-year-old man on charges of creating a false impression of a terrorist act and endangerment contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Rules of engagement are what get people killed. Shoot first ask questions later if you feel your life or another’s is threatened.

Another nut with a camera and delusions of greatness.

Of all the bone-headed, stupidly conceived and irresponsibly enacted publicity stunts EVER, this tops them all. Designed to present an anti-LE viewpoint, this incident shows the length that liberal media types will pursue their agenda regardless of safety, sensibility or balance. If the “actor” had not been wrapped in a light blue designer sheet making him look more comical than threatening (plus the person or persons filming him), quite possibly someone who had knowledge of what he seemed to holding (and pointing) would have correctly shot him dead on the spot.

This person is very lucky that someone with a ccw did not stop him long before the police showed up and he’s double lucky the police did not kill him.

  • Yet if these idiots had been fired upon by the local PD, this would have been branded a use of Excessive Force by the local PD.
Good show of Restraint to the responding officers.
