LONDON – A new British anti-terrorism law went into effect Monday that could bar photographers from taking pictures of police or military personnel.  The move ignited a protest of some 200 photographers outside of Scotland Yard’s headquarters.  Despite the measure’s aim to prevent terrorists from taking reconnaissance shots, British photographers are worried that the law could be misused to stop any pictures from being taken, including images involving police abuse and mistreatment.
