New Orleans Gala Honors Military Veterans

The annual Southern Dominican Province Gala at the U.S. Freedom Pavilion of the National World War II Museum in New Orleans honored U.S. military veterans.

The annual Southern Dominican Province Gala at the U.S. Freedom Pavilion of the National World War II Museum in New Orleans honored a number of United States military veterans. The event, held in November, paid tribute to Herschel Abbott; Gerald Conrad Jr.; Col. Jo Ann Cotterman, O.P. USAR (Ret.); Dr. Pat Jordan, O.P.; Very Rev. José I. Lavastida; Frank Purvis; Dr. Frank Schmidt, and Dylan Tête, as well as additional active duty service members and veterans from several different branches.

The event is a benefit for the Dominican Friars, St. Martin de Porres Province, which is located in Metairie, Louisiana.
