What makes this sinister is not just that it might prevent private citizens legally entitled to carry arms from doing so during the G-20, but that the police would have unfairly broad authority to treat *anything* as a weapon. Amazing. Pittsburgh resident here, planning to march in the G-20 protests with one group or another. The idea that I could potentially be arrested for so much as carrying a vegetable IS COMPLETELY INSANE.
