WELLINGTON, Fla.– The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency’s Defense Supply Center Philadelphia recently selected veteran and minority owned small business, Source One Distributors, Inc., as a prime contractor for the Special Operational Equipment Tailored Logistics Support Program. This distinguished contract has a maximum dollar value of $5.7 billion over the next five years.

Under the terms of the contract, Source One Distributors will supply all branches of the U.S. Military and other Federal civilian agencies with a broad assortment of special operational equipment in support of their missions worldwide.  The scope of equipment includes Personal Protection, Tactical Gear, Eyewear and Vision Enhancing products, Diving Equipment, Communication Devices, Lifesaving Search and Rescue Gear, Air Crew Support and Flight Deck Safety Items, Lethality Support Items, to Survival Kits, Incidental Services and more.

Source One Distributors also recently expanded and moved to a new 13,500 sqft headquarters. With the move to the new offices, Source One will be able to accommodate the growth necessary to support their recent prime vendor designation on a Tailored Logistics Support (TLS) contract slated to go into effect March 9th.
