I have the same pistol as seen on the picture. Condition is brand new. Looking to sell it. If interested call at 407-489-3793 thanks.

  • I traded an old s/w that I wasn’t using for the
XD(M) 9mm for $450.00. Very happy with the XD(M)as I will certainly use it on the practice range.

I am thinking of buy an XDM 9 mm 19 + 1. What price can I expect at a typical retail dealer?

I bought the 9mm xdm in the spring 2009 ive put some where in the range of 3,000 rounds thru it . its never miss fired . i owned ruger 9 mm’s for many years they dont come close to my xdm. if you are looking to buy a 9mm this is the gun to buy.

I finally purchased the XD(M) in 9mm. O.D. Green by the way and put 200 rounds of 115gr Winchester fmj (Walmart stuff) through it. WOW! After just the first magazine, I was amazed at how accurate it is. My wife loves it too. She actually prefers it to her SIG 232 (which she has been in love with for years) Now of course it looks like I’ll have to buy another just to get some time with it. I have a Glock 17 that I’d throw it away if I hadn’t paid so much for it. It’s just personal, but I get hand fatigue quickly with the glock. I can fire the XD(M) for an hour with out a wiggle. The sights are clear and accurate (note there factory set to 6 o’clock) see the manual. My suggestion, shoot this, if you don’t love it, I’d be surprised. (even you glock lovers) I like all the accessories too. I paid $545.00 at a local shop. Pricy perhaps, but in my opinion worth every penny.

My son and I just bought a XD-M in 9MM yesterday. Compared to Glock, it’s a Cadillac compared to a Ford Taurus. Very accurate even with cheap ammo.

I also purchased a springfield xd-m 9mm. I took out and shot at 8 inch reactive targets with it. (at 25 feet.)
Shot almost 500 rounds! It was very easy to fire as fast as possible and keep most of the twenty rounds on target. Also, knocked about some plastic coffee containers at much farther range, no problem with the match grade barrel and the 3 dot sights. Pistol seems to like premium ammo as the federal hydra shok; very accurate; but also shot well with remington UMC 115 gr FMJ’s.
I purchased xtra clips for a total of five, I like this pistol so much I’m thinking of buying
a second one for my other hand!!
I have smaller hands, used the small back strap insert, can hold pistol comfortably with one hand wrapping all four fingers around the frontstrap.
Extremely comfortable to shoot with the design ergonomics. Mine is all black.
If it were legal; I’d marry this gun! 🙂

I recently purchased an XD-M in 9mm. On it’s maiden voyage I was impressed by the ease of aim, the ergonomic design, and the accuracy. My hands are large and many other high capacity guns have felt cumbersome. This gun felt natural. The last time my hand felt this good, I was 17 and she wore silk high cut briefs… Anyhow, I’ve handled and fired many pistols, but this one was like shooting was meant to be. The target was bowling pins at 50 feet and I felt the only way I could miss was to close my eyes. I didn’t and I wouldn’t recommend it either.

To answer the question of the OD Green, I own the Springfield XD Tactical 9mm with the OD Green grips. The slide is, of course, blue, but the entire section, including the grips, the additional grips that come in the box, and the slide rest are all in OD Green. It’s a nice looking package all together and there is a picture on PoliceLink.com when you type in Springfield XD Tactical. The firearm shoots very smooth and I owned a Glock 17 prior to this purchase and would choose the Springfield with the extra safety over the Glock ANY DAY! It’s a joy to target shoot, and comes with 3 magazines in the box, so I keep one with HydroShock for Home Defense and the other 2 with practice rounds (I place the HydroShocks in after I shoot and clean the gun before I put it up and in case I need it to protect myself.) I live way out in the country with no neighbors and am in a wheelchair in a town full of addicts who know there could possibly be narcotics in my house. (I have Degeneritive Disc Disease and it is a relatively small town.) I have questionable people come to my home, and it’s nice to have the Springfield there with the 20 rounds just in case I have to use it! It never misfires, shoots a beautiful pattern, and I traded in a Sig Sauer P229 I could not hit the broad side of a barn with, but with the Springfield, I hit dead center every shot. I could not be happier with a firearm purchase!

I own four Springfield firearms, XD .45 Compact, XD .45 Tactical, XD(M) 9mm, and SAR-8. The XD .45’s are great combat handguns, perfect for the combat environment.
The XD(M) is completly in a different class than it’s XD predisessors. Often a product is over hyped and delivers little, this is not the case with the XD(M). All the advertised improvments perfomed beyond my expectations.
The SAR-8 is incredible, the few complaints I have are negated by the overwhelming advantages this platform offers.

  • od gren, really?

iIs the 9mm available in od gren/ss?… I didn’t see that on the springfield-armory website. I thought they were limiting the 9mm to the black and/or ss.
