Starting today, law enforcement officials and agencies can bid in an online auction on more than 140 firearms seized in recent years by the now-defunct West Central Texas Interlocal Crime Task Force.

The weapons — an assortment of handguns, rifles and shotguns — were seized during counternarcotics operations by the drug task force, which operated for more than 20 years in 13 Big Country counties.
