A quick text message helped police arrest a suspected hold-up robber in Portland’s Hollywood District Saturday.
He’s accused of robbing Paulsen’s Pharmacy on Northeast Sandy Boulevard while also taking several customers’ wallets.
This drug store also has a soda fountain. During the robbery, one of the victims texted a friend — who then called 9-1-1. Police were able to quickly swoop in.
When officers cornered their suspect, he ran — so a member of the Portland Police Bureau used a stun gun to bring him down.
