Transitioning From Rifle To Pistol With the 1st Marine Division

Pistol-to-rifle transition is a vital aspect of training, as Marines with Company B, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, demonstrate.

Marines with Company B, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division recently took to the range to work on rifle to pistol transitioning.

“It’s a major point of emphasis for this shooting package that we’re apart of to get ready for the direct action force,” 1st MARDIV Cpl. Robert Mueller said.

According to the video description:

Marines with Company B, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division conduct a close quarter tactics course at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Nov. 2, 2016. The course is part of the pre-deployment training for the upcoming tour with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Eastern Pacific.
