LONDON– UK security experts said the arrest of a terror suspect in Pakistan by U.S officials in August 2006 forced them to move quickly against 20 suspects who allegedly planned suicide bombings on flights from London’s Heathrow Airport to the U.S and Canada. The abrupt investigation lead to a jury’s failure to reach a verdict and British prosecutors are considering if the accused men should face a retrial.
