TACTICAL CUSTOMS
The Folding Side of Blade 2011: The trend in tactical folders at the 2011 Atlanta Blade Show seemed to be toward heavy-duty but medium-sized knives designed for all-round everyday carry on and off duty. The S30V remains the preferred blade material, but here and there a carbon steel model like Brian Goode’s O-1 friction folder found its way into the offerings. One way or another, these makers have something to fill every user’s pocket.
