All About Improvised Weapons
Get the lifesaving tactical edge to win over the “may bes” and “what ifs”!

I don’t know where you might be as you read this issue of CH. You may be in an airport, on a plane, or perhaps at home, maybe in your living room, your bedroom, or as a buddy of mine likes to call it, your “two hole branch library.” Wherever you are at this very moment, do you have the ability to defend yourself from an unarmed assailant? From an assailant armed with a knife? From an assailant armed with a handgun?
As yet another use of the venerable “What If?” exercise Col. Cooper taught us, we sometimes need to do a quick check to see what we have at hand that can serve as a weapon. We need to consider that it may be the only weapon we have available. It may be the only weapon we have suitable for a less-lethal encounter. It may be something we can use to buy us the time we need to get to a firearm. Case in point, this magazine could be quickly rolled up to use to literally take the wind out of your opponent’s sails or it could be thrown in his face to buy you time to draw your handgun.

Why is Captain Picard stalking this woman? Is this a new trend? Out of work Star Trek actors turning to crime? Are they beaming in? Will Phasers be made available?
Or, is this just a politically correct picture of a criminal?
