I have a question for Massad Ayoob,
Sir, I just finished reading your article in the November 2009 issue, “Know Your Weapons”. I enjoyed it and found it very interesting. As with all of your articles (and books).
My question, I carry either a Kimber, Commander length 1911 an H&K 45C, or a S&W M&P 9mm. I carry the Kimber Cocked and Locked, the H&K (DA/SA) cocked & locked and the M&P with one in the chamber and the manual safety on. Are these the recommended methods of carry? I also have Glock’s and XD’s but prefer not to carry a semi-auto without a manual safety. What is your advice?
Thank You & keep up the excellent articles!
Sincerely
Terry Biggs, Arkansas
