Randall Adventure Training’s fixed blades—simple and tough!

Jeff Randall and his business partner, Mike Perrin, have for a number of years operated a company known as Randall Adventure Training (RAT) that specializes in jungle survival courses in the Peruvian Amazon. Along with the usual extreme adventure tourists, the RAT training group also holds contracts to offer their expertise to an elite South American military unit. Few individuals can match Jeff and Mike for experience in using cutting tools under the most challenging field conditions. So when they start a new knife company, it’s worth taking special notice of.

RAT contracts with the Southeast Idaho knife making company of Rowen Manufacturing to produce their designs, with the first three new models being debuted at SHOT 2008.
