Lightweight, accurate, controllable—it’s a no-nonsense big bore!

smith-wesson-barrel.gifIf Clint Smith, owner, operator and chief broom sweeper at Thunder Ranch in Oregon, is not listed in the next edition of the Guinness Book Of World Records as the one single man (outside the company) who has been able to pull more levers, push more buttons, and tug more strings to get more new big-bore wheelguns in interesting patterns out of Smith & Wesson than anybody else, ever, then Guinness might as well just pack up and shut the book down. Such an achievement is far more notable than who ate the most worms in one sitting or who pogo-sticked the farthest across the Sahara Desert.

Yes, there’s no denying that there are several big-bore revolvers in retro form in the company’s lineup that wouldn’t be there today without the foundation laid by Clint Smith, and some thoroughly modern variations that are purpose-built for today’s market.
