I’ve been waiting to get the EMP since the first article on it way back. At the time only the 9mm was going to be available. I haven’t kept up but am glad to see both are now available. Can’t wait to get one!

Having had the chance to evaluate many 1911 platform autos in both IDPA and independent testing. I would like to put this weapon to the test also but I am positive that with all Springfield Armory products I have had the oppurtunity to evaluate it will perform as advertised. I have yet to run into feed problems, ammo refusual, accuracy and reliability. I have been involved with operational weapons and conceal and carry weapons for years and have been advising police tactical teams on many orders stopping power is a must along with rapid second shot acquisition.
