TWENTY GAUGE DEFENSE
The perfect home-defense scattergun if 12 is too much to handle!
A recent survey of gun owners found that the most popular gun for home defense is a 12-gauge shotgun. But for some people, this is a bit too much gun to handle. In this video, John Higgs suggests that a 20 gauge may be a viable alternative, especially for smaller or older people, or those with physical impairments such as arthritis or reduced upper-body strength. A sporting pump-action 20 gauge can be modified in various ways to not only shoot clays and deer, but also serve for home defense and as a trunk gun for people in remote areas where the nearest law enforcement agency might be miles away.
We’ll have a full test and evaluation of this pump gun designed for protection in this year’s Personal & Home Defense magazine, so stay tuned.

Here is a 20 gauge for those of you who find a 12 gauge a little too much for their soft shoulders.

I have a 20ga Mossberg as my Home Defense weapon. It’s not as tricked out as the weapon pictured but
it works for me.
