Seeker Plus and Seeker One — find what could hurt ya!
Few cops, at least the ones I know, want to act as “security guards.” The unfortunate fact of life, however, is that our current state of affairs has police officers pressed into duty as security personnel more often than any other time in recent history. Due to the ever-present threat of terrorism and other violence, law enforcement officers nationwide are being utilized as a ready labor pool for any event or venue that’s deemed to be “high risk” or a “high value target.”
When officers are assigned to monitor entry/access points and conduct crowd control, they need some type of metal detector. Frisks or pat-downs work great when you are dealing with a small number of subjects. However, when you need to screen dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of people, you need technology to lend you a hand.
