Sub-1/2-MOA 14.5” carbine is ready for PATROL!

WHEN John Overstreet, president of CMMG, offered to send me one of their 14.5-inch lightweight carbines, I anticipated its delivery with high hopes based upon my past positive experience with the company’s weapons. Upon opening the polymer Doskosport padded hard case, my first impressions found those expectations fulfilled.

cmmg2.jpgOverstreet had told me that the weapon was fitted with a full array of
accessories, and this impressive-looking iteration of the black rifle was a
lot for the eyes to absorb. A far cry from your bare bones AR, what set it apart at a glance were its MIAD pistol grip, Enhanced Triggerguard and
CTR telescoping buttstock from MagPul Industries, back-up iron sights
from Midwest Industries, a chopped-down gas block and its Daniel Defense M4 quad-rail handguards. Two 30-round magazines were included.
