Old Remington workhorse get upgraded as a crisis entry tool!

IT’s a warm spring day, the kind that makes you glad you’re a road officer and not riding a desk back at the station. As you roll down the highway your thoughts turn to where to stop for lunch. Your train of thought is interrupted by the squawk of the radio. Snatching up the mike you tell dispatch to go ahead with their traffic. The message you receive starts your heart racing and adrenaline pumping.

remington2.jpgA “shots fired” call has just come in from the local high school. Multiple units are en route but you are the closest. Running hot you should be there in less than 5 minutes. Another unit chimes in and states that he is on the way, his ETA (estimated time of arrival) is about the same as yours.
