Your strong hand unavailable— your off-hand to the rescue!

The core concept of plainclothes operations is that the handgun you are carrying will be concealed. While a gun in the hand is the fastest draw, it is not the reality of our normal workday or off-duty environment. This being said, working on the drawstroke from our regular carry holster covered by a garment is crucial.

plainclothes2.jpgThe fact is, you can develop a reasonably fast concealed draw in a very short period of time, provided you understand the physiological components of how the arm works. But what if your strong hand becomes disabled for some reason? Will you still be able to draw your handgun from under a garment and bring it into the fight? If you don’t know or aren’t sure, you need to sort this out now!
