S&W M&P and GLOCK 34 get the BOWIE CUSTOM TREATMENT!
DAVID Bowie is a law enforcement officer, firearms instructor and a highly talented pistolsmith. Like many smiths, Dave has focused most of his efforts in a particular area and carved out a very unique niche. While there are numerous artisans who can trick out a 1911, the list of skilled individuals who can perform similar magic on contemporary pistols is significantly shorter.
In a few short years, Dave has established himself as the “palatine of polymers” and his work on GLOCK and Springfield XD pistols is top shelf. Being an old school guy, I’ve often viewed such pistols as tools to be driven hard and put away wet. Sure those polymer blasters exhibit pretty fair shooting qualities and are extremely reliable, but they have all the aesthetics of a lump of coal.
