More controllable, more shootable, more accurate!

For over 100 years, American shooters have had a love affair with .45ACP-caliber handguns. Sure, we shoot our 9mms, .38 Specials and .40s, but the .45ACP continues to occupy that special place.

insighttech.jpgToday, the .45ACP cartridge is enjoying a renaissance of sorts. Throughout the 1980s, the 9mm was the king of the hill. Later on, the .40 came out of nowhere to push the 9mm into second place. The .45ACP pistol has long had a legion of devoted followers and in recent years the number of true believers has grown significantly. It has been my observation that there are more law enforcement agenciescarrying .45ACP pistols than ever before.
