Sig Sauer 1911 C3 .45ACP

Compact and easy to carry but boasting full-size performance!

Like anybody else who has been in the game for some time, I have some very strong preferences in personal weaponry. Truth be told, I still have a warm spot in my heart for double-action revolvers, reflected in my modest battery of handguns. Although I own a few odd double-action pistols, I’m not especially crazy about them. The only one that I’ve gotten a little cozy with is a SIG SAUER P239 that I’ve occasionally carried. My other DA pistols are pretty much “safe queens” and I only break them out for teaching or ammunition testing.

sigsauer-c32.gifWhen you get right down to it, I’m still a 1911 kind of a guy. I tend to shoot them to a somewhat higher standard than other designs and vital controls are just where I expect to find them. The short, relatively light single-action trigger also makes me look a little better than I really am. I am, however, very particular as to what sort of 1911 I might protect my hide with.
