Border Patrol struggling to keep employees
IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif.- The sobering work involved in a normal shift working as a U.S. Border Patrol Officer has left the federal agency with a lack of employees. Working all night alone in remote towns along the U.S-Mexico border in 100 degree temperatures is not an ideal work situation, which is why approximately 30% of agents end up leaving their jobs in less than 18 months.
