Fla. prepares for first lethal injection execution

Associated Press, MSNBC

STARKE, Fla. - Florida is preparing for the first lethal injection execution since 2006, when the method of capital punishment was banned after a foul up that resulted in an inmate’s delayed and painful death.

The new procedures require the warden to make sure inmates are unconscious after the first chemical is injected.  After which, a second chemical is injected to induce paralyzation, followed by a third chemical to stop the heart, requiring a person with medical training to be involved in every execution.  For more information, click here and return back to comment.

Why not bring back the guillotine? Sure, it is messy, but it is painless!
